My Local Sports Authority “Gets It”

Indeed, dear readers, that is a teal colored Orioles cap.  The logo, like the team, appears to be bleeding.  And that is what all the kids are callin’ cool these days.

I think.

Nevermind the fact that the O’s start the second half of the season on a 4-game win streak.  Nevermind that they’re 5-5 in their last 10 games.  Instead, let us focus on the big picture: they are a mighty 27 games behind the AL East leader.

And that ain’t bad.

That’s Pittsburgh Pirates bad.

Which, is about as bad as it gets.

So, if you’re an Orioles fan (are there any of you left?), be proud; come on down to the UIC strip and pick ya up one of these bleeding teal Oriole hats.  No one will make fun of you for it.  I promise.  In fact, donning one of these lids will just make you…

Hate me ‘cuz I’m with the part-time fashion police, just don’t hate me ‘cuz I’m right.

Happy Friday!

Looks like something out of PS # 1 in Brooklyn via the back wall of any number of abandoned warehouse fronts. Classic spray paint “tagging” persona of the Orioles mascot.
Who knows, could have a gang-related connotation to suggest 29 other MLB gangs might also be conveying the same messages in their towns soon.
    Could be worse.
Could be a snaggled-tooth Goofy on the front of the cap. But then, that is anothe notorious gang out of Orlando and Anaheim.

RR — Gangsta’s paradise… that’s what it sounds like to me.
Mike (BTB) — It appears that no one is ready, willing or able to fix them. Hopefully that will change soon.
Mike (MiB) — Heck, they were good as late as ’96. Ripken led the way until that Jeffrey kid stole away their WS dreams in the Bronx.
