The Graphic Truth: Ways to Strikeout Alfonso Soriano
While eschewing the seasonal “will the Cardinals be able to sign Albert Pujols” question, I stumbled across this gem among some old game notes and strategies for getting out Cubs.
Ah, nothin’ hurts more than the truth.
At least he’s only signed for four more years at *gulp*, $18 million a year.
Uh… yah.
Don’t hate me ‘cuz I know bad math when I see it. And don’t hate me ‘cuz I’m right.
Peace,
Jeff
Why does he have to use such a heavy bat? Unless he’s changed that since his days with the Yankees, that’s what I remember about him (other than that he strikes out a lot). It always looks like it’s too big for him.

Seems to be a bit of a pride issue going on with Alfie. Same reason why he bitched and complained about being dropped in the order… dude is holding on to the idea of his pipedream self. In my opinion, at least.

And Jim Hendry’s job is evidently safe.

Seriously, Prince… I don’t get it. Really. Those contracts are ATROCIOUS!

Even though I’m not a big fan of even bigger contracts, I do wear my Soriano jersey with pride. Ok, he can strikeout easily, but he is reliable.

Sweet pie chart! He waves like a middle-aged golfer wearing a neck brace.

Mark — Reliably shaky as a defender and reliably inconsistent as a hitter… I mean, yeah, he’ll get his 20 bombs, but most of them are moot compared to the rest of his production.
Matt — Sweet visual! Grazie!
