**Programming Note**

Tuesday and Wednesday’s posts will both be the result of a small experiment between Mr. Lung and Mr. Krause.  The title for each post will be the exact same and was co-created by each constituent in an odd writing exercise known to literary dorks as “build-a-sentence”.  Mr. Lung wrote a word, then Mr. Krause wrote a word, Mr. Lung wrote a word, etc., until there was a complete sentence that sorta made sense.

Stay tuned and see the true difference between these two baseball-politico minds and find out just where that co-created title will take them, whether it be down the same jaded street or off into themes yet undiscovered like Red Sox fans who never complain about anything (yeah right, like there is such a thing).

You know what we mean.

Julia — See, you proved my point 😉 And two WS titles in four years? Not too shabby… but still, the complaints keep a comin’.
Jen — NOISES! You got it. Dreamy? Why (*Blush) thanks!

I had a vision that the Yankees will completely tank despite spending the GDP of a small country and be irrevocably embarrassed. I called this vision the 2008 Detroit Tigers.

You can’t buy a championship. I think the Red Sox will take the East.

Tom — Okay, then try the ’07 Rockies and see if that works for ya.
Roundrock — Amazing isn’t it? Red Sox fans… can always count on them for that, no matter how well they play.
Katie — I think so too… but that’s because they bought it. In their defense, they have some great products from the minors in power positions now. But they’re known to spend a dollar or 160 million.
Melissa — Like gnats in Joba’s face 🙂
Baba — What are you talking about? Patience. Patience. Save the best for last. Duh.
Erin — Get me a meeting with Albert Pujols and we’ll see what we can do.

Jane — I would respond to that comment but I can’t seem to get up from that low blow you sent me (we made up for it in ’06 by the way). And no. Not a sleeper sofa. Two non-sleeper sofas. I am an interior design genius.

There was something wrong with his head, V. Then I realized it was just his head that was wrong in general. Somewhere a mole has the head of a human.

Yankees-ugh…I’m one that hopes the curse of the Babe for the Sox will continue disguised as the curse of the A-Rod for the Yankees again for 2009!

Homer — Oh yeah! We tried to get Youppi to make a guest appearance but apparently he’s retired to the sun of Puerto Rico and was not available.

That was good guys. Hope the shower was not too icy cold after the video shooting.

Well, I agree wholeheartedly with the ” down to the wire” comment. I am up that school of thought that it is going to be the pitching of the three big clubs that either carry ot sink their teams playoff chances.
But I know this video was done before the A Rod surgery announcement. That might have New York looking up for a bit before they find their timing .

I have to go with Boston being the strongest right now on the mound, but New York and Tampa Bay are equal, not in dollars but in potential for the year. I see three major injuries in this division ( besides A Rod) that will mess up the hopes and dreams of teams………….but my crystal ball is hazy on the winner of the division…….. Come on, you think I was going to anoint Boston?

That is great! I can totally relate to the baseball talk being more of a catalyst than, say, a deterent. I was sitting at a bar with a boyfriend. The playoffs were on TV and I was engrossed. He says, “I can’t believe you are into this. It’s not even the Cardinals.” I said, “Are you kidding? I’m pretty much turned on.”
Sorry, I am so far behind. I’m getting caught up on my blog reading today!

So it’s fun to look back at predictions so:
In review… Well you guys got this one too! in order aswell NYY, BoSox and Rays..good call although I’m thinking you expected it to be a little closer than it is… and the PED’s talk did kind of consume that division a little…
